Terms of Service
Terms governing accounts, PowerPoint uploads, HTML conversion results, acceptable use, billing, and service limitations for PPT to HTML.
Last updated: 2026-07-23
Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PPT to HTML, including its website, account features, presentation conversion workflow, browser previews, generated HTML packages, downloads, and support services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and meet the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. The conversion workflow requires an account.
You agree to provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. You may not share access in a way that bypasses usage limits, security controls, or paid-plan restrictions.
The PPT to HTML Service
The Service accepts supported PPTX files and attempts to produce a browser-viewable HTML package. Parsing and packaging run in a dedicated worker in your browser; generated previews and ZIP packages are then stored privately for account history, preview, and download. Each account may currently create up to three conversion tasks per UTC calendar day, resetting at 00:00 UTC. Failed or abandoned tasks may count toward this allowance. The workflow may include file validation, conversion progress, fidelity warnings, and required notices.
Supported formats, file-size limits, slide-count limits, processing timeouts, and other technical requirements are shown in the Service and may change as the product evolves. A file may be rejected or fail if it is corrupted, password protected, incorrectly labeled, exceeds a limit, contains unsupported objects, or cannot be processed safely.
The Service is a conversion tool, not an editing, archival, backup, or general-purpose hosting platform. Optional share links are provided only for converted results. Keep an independent copy of every original presentation and downloaded result.
Your Presentations and Permissions
You retain ownership of the presentations and other content you process ("User Content"). You direct your browser to parse, transform, render, and package that content and grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host and deliver the generated artifacts only as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and support the Service. Generated artifacts may embed presentation data, media, and source presentation bytes required by the browser renderer.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own the User Content or have all rights and permissions needed to upload and convert it.
- Processing the User Content will not violate privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, employment, education, contractual, or other rights.
- You have obtained any notices, consents, or authorizations required for personal data contained in the presentation.
- The User Content does not contain malware, illegal material, or instructions intended to attack or misuse the Service or a downloaded viewer.
Do not upload highly sensitive, regulated, classified, or irreplaceable information unless you have independently determined that the Service and your use of it satisfy all applicable requirements.
Generated HTML and Fidelity
PowerPoint and web browsers use different rendering and media systems. We do not guarantee pixel-perfect equivalence, complete accessibility, or support for every PowerPoint feature.
The Service may reproduce selectable text, shapes, images, tables, charts, common animation cues, slide transitions, audio, and browser-compatible video. Results can differ because of unavailable fonts, browser autoplay rules, codecs, macros, equations, OLE objects, 3D effects, uncommon artwork, advanced animations, or other PowerPoint-specific behavior. Some content may be simplified, substituted, or omitted.
You are responsible for reviewing the preview, fidelity notes, and downloaded package before publishing, distributing, presenting, or relying on the result. Do not assume that a successful conversion means every element is complete, accurate, secure, accessible, or legally cleared for publication.
Output Rights and Third-Party Material
As between you and us, you may use the generated HTML output based on your rights in the underlying User Content. The conversion does not grant you new rights to fonts, images, audio, video, trademarks, software, or other third-party material contained in the presentation.
Generated packages may include open-source software, runtime code, or license notices. You must retain notices and comply with applicable third-party licenses. You are responsible for the security, hosting configuration, access control, and distribution of files after download.
Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate applicable law, regulation, court order, or another person's rights.
- Upload content you are not authorized to process or disclose.
- Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.
- Upload malware, exploit code, intentionally malformed files, or content designed to interfere with conversion infrastructure or downloaded viewers.
- Probe, scan, bypass, disable, reverse engineer, or defeat security, authentication, rate limits, access controls, or usage restrictions, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Access another user's conversion, account, preview, or download without authorization.
- Use automated means in a manner that creates unreasonable load or disrupts the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service itself to third parties unless we have agreed in writing.
We may investigate suspected misuse and block, suspend, or remove access when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, or the Service.
Privacy and File Handling
Our handling of account information and User Content is described in the Privacy Policy. The source PPTX is processed in your browser and is not uploaded separately to our conversion server. The generated HTML preview and ZIP package may contain presentation content, media, processed data, and source presentation bytes required for browser rendering. Ordinary generated artifacts are retained for three days after conversion and then deleted automatically. An active public share manually approved for search indexing may be retained beyond that default period.
No public presentation link is created by default. If you create an optional share link, you are responsible for the people and platforms with which you share it, and you may disable it through the Service. Shared results are marked noindex by default unless separately approved for indexing. You are also responsible for anyone with whom you share a downloaded package or any copy you host outside the Service.
Paid Features and Billing
Some features may be offered for a fee. If you purchase a paid plan, subscription, credit package, or other paid feature, the price, currency, billing period, renewal terms, usage allowance, taxes, and cancellation terms shown at checkout form part of these Terms.
You authorize the selected payment provider to charge the payment method you provide. Except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, fees are non-refundable. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund amounts already charged. Payment-provider terms may also apply.
Service Availability and Changes
We may maintain, update, limit, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service. Conversion performance and availability may vary based on file complexity, traffic, infrastructure, third-party software, browsers, and system maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or permanent storage of conversion history or generated packages.
We may change supported formats, limits, features, or providers. When reasonably practical, we will provide notice of material changes that significantly affect existing users.
Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account or data deletion through the available support channel.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, misuse the Service, or if continued operation is no longer commercially or technically reasonable. Where appropriate, we may provide an opportunity to cure a breach or download available results before termination.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions, will continue to apply.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.
We do not warrant that every presentation will convert successfully, that output will exactly match PowerPoint, that all content will remain editable or accessible, that every media codec or effect will work, or that generated HTML is suitable for your particular hosting, security, compliance, educational, commercial, or production requirements.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or use, arising from or related to the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 100. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the Service operator and its personnel harmless from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights. This section does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own unlawful conduct.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Service operator, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the laws of their place of residence. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally, unless applicable law allows you to proceed directly.
The legal identity, governing jurisdiction, and formal notice address of the Service operator should be provided through the contact information published for the Service. Any mandatory venue or dispute-resolution rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service, business model, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms with a new updated date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
